India and Nepal

Four months in India, followed by 6 weeks in Nepal. What I love about the Indian sub-continent was learning to expect the unexpected. I had some truly unforgettable experiences here, from being an extra in a Bollywood movie in Mumbai, to a 22-day unguided walk along the Annapurna Circuit through the Himalayas with a map purchased for just 100 rupees (about 70p!). Final thoughts.... don't take food off strangers!
